We are a group of people fascinated by the history of the Luftwaffe and the undeniable influence of this formation on the development of aviation technology and break out of stereotypes futuristic thinking about aviation. Our fascination is not in any case lined with ideological background and sympathy towards Nazism and its crimes. 4 people, different country, different history, one fascination - Luftwaffe. Very nice! I also model Luftwaffe airplanes, but my focus is on landing gear, and then I build them (machined and 3D printed), mostly 1/13 and 1/6 scale. I haven't learned how to do surfaces yet as I mostly do mechanical parts but would like to design a Go-9 in 1/6 scale for R/C.
ReplyDeleteDave i got you covered on the GO-9 Ive been working on redesigning this aircraft for the past 16 years at full size biggest hurdle is the drive shaft and torsional vibration, i have actually added 4 feet in size and flushed out the cockpit with a more modern approach yet keeping to period look
